ART IN FULL CIRCLE

They say time is the master and with art expressionist Donovan Gibbs one of the caribbean best it has been a journey that has taken him twenty years. Gibbs who started out doing pieces on paper now do pieces up five feet in height. He is labelled by some of the caribbean's best know critics to be a true expressionist of the bright colors expressing true emotions to changing world.

He firmly believes that visual art has made it mark in the heart of the world and therefore he no plans in slowing down.

"When I do a piece of art is express my true feelings and therefore the legacy for me is the mystery of it."

In 2014 Gibbs did his first commissioned piece of art for now the late Edward Seaga former Prime Minister of the Island of Jamaica where he is orginally from.

Gibbs now resides in the Island of Antigua with his Wife. He has just recently open his gallery showcasing 53 of his most colorful pieces to day including this one on the right called "The Encounter".
